kenny Ball INFO:: Wow! just saw Kenny last night at the Sands Venue, Gainsborough which is one of the very best jazz venues in the whole of the UK - even surpassing some of the London venues. Kenny was outstanding and completely rocked the joint with some of the finest jazz, i have ever heard. A Splendid Evening INFO:: We came up from Norwich last Friday to see "Blue Harlem" and were all very impressed with the venue and the polite attentiveness of the staff. We had an excellent meal and then danced the night away to the music from the band. For anyone considering visiting the venue for the first time - take my word you will not be disappointed! Bryan Adams Night INFO:: Just a quick note to say thanks for a great night last Friday when the Bryan Adams Experience were playing. My wife, son, friends and their kids all had an excellent night. Top Tributes! INFO:: I just want to say how impressed I am with the quality and choice of your tribute acts. I often visit the Sands venue and always have a fantastic time. CLEO LAINE INFO:: What can you say about Cleo Laine and Johnny Dankworth that hasn't been said before. The Sands came alive on Saturday night to see the lady "Dame Cleo Laine" sing up a storm. The music was as always incomparable and the audience almost brought the place down, but they always do. For me Saturday's show felt like a step back in time, with a highly professional five-piece band swinging with the crispness and glamour of a 30's style big band, and Cleo once again being truly amazing. Dennis Rollins INFO:: Dennis and his great band played 2 unmissable sets, If he performs here again you must see him for yourself. Dee Anderson performing on 10th April INFO:: Saw Dee Anderson and her band on Thursday night. This was my first visit to the Sands, and I was knocked out, I am definately coming back.
